Riftbound card rarity chart.
What each rarity means, how to tell it from the card in your hand, and what cards at that rarity actually sell for. Open any rarity for its full price list.
Ordinary rarities
Most of what a pack holds, and the tiers a bulk box is sorted out of.
Chase rarities
What the box gets opened for. Most are printed past the end of the set numbering.
Reading the rarity off the card
The check that always works is arithmetic. Compare the collector number against the set total printed after the slash: showcase is defined by running past it, and 92 of the 92 cards we price in that tier are numbered above their set total. A card reading 303*/298 is one of those. A letter after the number does the same job inside the run: 119a/298 is the alternate print of card 119, not a separate card.
Rarity is not value
The most valuable card we price is Teemo, Swift Scout (Metal) (Prize Wall) from Riftbound Organized Play Promotional Cards at $4,400, and it is a promo, an ordinary pack rarity. How many copies survived and how many people want that card matter far more than what the printer put in the pack.
The number worth knowing per tier is the median, not the record. The highest median here belongs to showcase at $55.34, so a card picked at random from that tier beats one picked from any other; the promo median is $8.42 against that $4,400 at the top. Open any rarity for its full price list.
